Working day 01 : Arrive Delhi
Meet on arrival at Airport and transfer to hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.
Working day two : Delhi - Lucknow - Sravasti
Depart Delhi by flight or train for Lucknow within the morning. On arrival at Lucknow you might be driven to Sravasti (170 km). Sravasti was the funds of Kosala Mahajanapada in historical times. Sravasti can also be recognized as Sahet-Mahet. Sravasti is renowned for that supernatural feats showed by Lord Buddha, sitting on a lotus, and for other stories which are linked with Buddha. It can be stated that Lord Buddha spent 24 rainy seasons at Sravasti. On reaching Sravasti you may be transferred to hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 03 : Sravasti - Lumbini
After breakfast at the hotel you are going to be taken to get a sightseeing tour of Sahet Mahet (when the funds of ancient Kingdom of Kosala), Jetvana Vihar and Buddhist temples. From Sravasti you may be driven to Lumbini (in Nepal, 225 km). Upon arrival at Lumbini you are going to be transferred to hotel. Overnight stay at hotel. Lumbini is the birthplace of Gautama Buddha, the founder of Buddhism. Lumbini can be one of the UNESCO globe heritage websites.
Day 04 : Lumbini - Kushinagar
Immediately after breakfast you may be taken for the sightseeing tour of Lumbini. Sightseeing covers Mayadevi temple, Ashokan Pillar, Buddhist temples, Pushkarni (the sacred pool), sanctum sanctorum of Buddha's birthplace and stupas. After Lumbini you might head for another sacred Buddhist location, Kushinagar (161km). On reaching Kushinagar you might be transferred to hotel. Overnight remain at hotel. Kushinagar will be the place of Buddha's Mahaparinirvana (the final bowing out).
Day 05 : Kushinagar- Varanasi
In the morning you may pay a visit to the Mahaparinirvana temple as well as the Ramabhar Stupa (the cremation location of Lord Buddha). Breakfast follows a generate to Varanasi (260 km). On arrival at Varanasi you are going to be transferred to hotel. Overnight remain at hotel.
Working day 06 : Varanasi - Bodhgaya
Early in the morning you are going to be taken to Ganga Ghats to get a boat experience about the Ganges to find out bathing and cremation rituals. Working day 07 : Bodhgaya- Patna - Delhi (by overnight train)
Breakfast at hotel follows a check out to the Mahabodhi temple along with other monuments and edifices linked with Buddhism. From Bodhgaya you may be driven to Patna by way of Rajgir and Nalanda.
Nalanda was a great center of studying in ancient times. Nalanda was one of the biggest monastic universities in the ancient world. At Nalanda you might pay a visit to the ruins from the Nalanda University, temples and stupas. From Nalanda you'll head for Patna (90km). On arrival at Patna transfer to railway station to connect train for Delhi.
